In 2008: competing at first Olympic Games… One of
two athletes from the Yukon named to the Olympic team.
The other is weightlifter Jeanne Lessen. They are the
Yukon’s first summer Olympians…Ranked 10th
in the world by UCI in the scratch race and 11th in points
race at the end of 2007-08 season…Eight-time national
champion on track… Also one of Canada’ s top
road racers…
Was a competitive wrestler in high school but switched
to cycling in university…
